Random but I need a smile: (these are in no particular order)

1. PassiveAgressiveNotes.Com
An amazingly awesome website that keeps me entertained for hours on end.

2. FoundMagazine.Com
Another awesome website that is hilarious.

3. Flickr.Com
It’s random that I became obsessed with the website but I love looking at all of the different photographs.

4. TornadoVideos.Net
I love, love extreme weather. I want to chase a tornado one day. Until that day comes, I live vicariously through this website.

5. UnnessecaryKnowledge.Com
F5, repeat. You’ll be amazed at how long you can spend on this website without getting bored.

I love taking photos and granted, I’m not great at it, I’d love to learn more. I was thinking of maybe taking a couple of photography classes or even going back to school for it. I want a new camera, well one that’s my own really (my dad and I share our digital) but I want a GREAT one. I know I’m going to have to save up for it but I don’t care about the money if the camera is awesome. (Don’t care may be too strong a phrase, how about under $1000). Any suggestions?

When I moved back home (unfortunately) I bought myself a new flat screen television to celebrate and it has a DVD player built into it, which is awesome because I watch more movies than I do television. Randomly though my DVD player has decided not to work, which is heartbreaking because I feel like I’m going crazy without being able to watch a movie. I wish I knew how to fix it because I don’t want to go out and buy another DVD player if I can help it. Granted I have my laptop but that’s not the same.

I got a temporary promotion at work on Monday so I’ve been there all week training. It’s been crappy because I’ve had no time to do absolutely anything. Last night rehearsals started up again so it’s back to that never ending streak of tiredness.

This past weekend (as mentioned in my last post) was my work’s play festival. As fun as it was…something really bad happened. They had a fundraiser on Saturday night and me and my boss’s friend were at the front desk, checking everyone in and whatnot. One of the guests (a playwright whose play was performed at the festival) bought us drinks. I was using my boss’s laptop to check everyone in because it has a credit card processor on it and my boss’s friend knocked over my martini onto the laptop. Uh ohhhhh…and now it won’t turn on at all. I’m horrified and don’t know what to do. My boss isn’t angry per se because accidents happen but still. The assistant director of the play I’m working on now told me that if my boss takes it someplace then they can clean it out and it will work again. It worked all night long but at the end of the night when I turned off the computer, it wouldn’t turn on the next time. Does that seem right to anyone? If you take it to be cleaned it will work again?

The plays at least were okay. One play was much better than the other but it was poorly directed I have to say. The other play was better directed but the script wasn’t great. Can’t win them all I guess. The company is done until February so it will be a nice break of not having to do one right after the other, and it will be easier for me because I’m not going to be running around like I have my head chopped off. And once this other play is done I will be back down to a normal person’s hours and can actually have a social life again. That will be interesting to say the least.

I’m trying to overhaul certain aspects of my life so I don’t get so stressed out. First of all, I care too much about what other people think, so I need to try and change that. Secondly, I need to slow down. I think I’m going to have my hands full with those two things for a while so we’ll see how it goes.

My poor flickr account has been collecting dust for ages. So in order to make up for the lack of upkeep I’ve decided to wipe it clean and reorganize. I upgraded to a pro account and started to reupload all of my photos because now I can have more than 3 sets and 200 photos!

My parents get back from Arizona tonight so I can get my camera back and start taking pictures. Autumn is in FULL FORCE here so it’ll be awesome to take pictures of the foliage.

Last night the theatre company I work for opened its play festival and let me tell you…it was the best of both worlds. I’m not a stage manager for this series, just the front of house manager. The rain was so torrential that barely anyone showed up, which was good on my part because it made my job a lot easier because I had less to keep track of. The bad part was that barely anyone showed up, which isn’t good for the company. So we’ll see how night two goes tonight, hopefully more people will show up. I felt bad for the playwright (who was there last night) because the audience was bare AND he had the loudest laugh in the audience and he obviously got the jokes. I have a feeling that this show is going to be better than last night’s.

Okay so I think I’m going to start a blog again. I’ve been blogging forever and every time I walk away from it, I walk right back. It’s like a drug I can’t get out of my system.

Life has been hell as of late. Well not hell, it would have to sink in before I realize it’s hell. I have four part time jobs right now and it’s killing me. I have an arsenal of food in the trunk of my car because I’m constantly driving from one job to the next. Why am I so crazy you ask? Because I don’t know how to use the word no. I want to please everyone so I say yes to everyone and in the end I get burnt out. But I love my jobs…most of the time.

I am the office manager to a theatre company that one of my old college professors own. She’s awesome and I have a great time working for someone I know on a more personal level. I still stage manage at night and have my retail job from when I first started college. The other job isn’t that bad because it doesn’t happen often. This will be the last of it for the rest of the year but it starts tonight and it’s all weekend long for 10 hours a day. Shoot me now.

Halloween I actually hung out with some friends and carved my very FIRST pumpkin. It was awesome and although the inside of the pumpkin was messy, I had a blast. We went to this funeral home and they turn into a haunted house. That was creepy too because they used caskets.

Not that anyone reads this blog anyway, but I’m back.
